Travels take note, Australia is a bustling landscape filled with incredible tourist attractions for the your and old. Day and night, you time spent in the “land down under” can be packed with non-stop fun.
Now if you are like me and love your naps here and there, then this might not be a bad option if you want to head out on a night on the town on your next trip to Australia.
It really helped me “keep up with the kids” and party the night away. Good times I tell you. Bryan Adam’s song “18 ‘till I die” has become my new anthem… I just don’t tell the younger folk about those occasional naps I had along the way!
So if you are looking for some rocking places to check out on a trip to Australia, here are my recommendations:
The Leederville Hotel
Wednesday nights at the Leederville in Perth are the shizz! Did I mention the cheap drinks? Yes, this is a huge plus for any tourist on a budget still looking for a good time. But take note, it’s a hostel, backpackers hangout, so if you are a bit older than your average backpacker, you might feel a little awkward hanging out here. Me, I didn’t care about the kiddies… did I mention the cheap drinks yet?
The Argyle Hotel
This fabulous venue in Sydney gives you the perfect mix of beverages to appeal to everyone’s tastes, and not only does it offer good drinks, good food, the company you could meet is also great. Interact with the locals, share a drink and some stories and make new Facebook friends along the way. Perfect!
The Star
Still in Sydney, The Star casino and entertainment complex is a must when visiting the city. Wine, dine, shop, get a massage, gamble and catch a show and so much more. It has a great collection of things to do and see and you really could get lost playing in this playground. Just make sure to keep that budget in check and not go to mad at the casino… Understand how a casino works before you go and go here: https://www.europalace.com/getting-started/ to understand how a casino really operates. You don’t want to spend money unnecessarily or not understand the games before you go.
Cloudland
So the word EPIC was dropped a few times by some when describing this venue, so we had to check it out. We made sure to get all dolled up, put on our Sunday best and hit this hotspot out in all glory. It’s lavish, luxurious and oh so sophisticated. You really will feel like the whose-who of the Brisbane elite when at this club. Cloudland was definitely my favourite hidden Australian gem of the trip as a whole.
